Tolaini Valdisanti Toscana IGT is a super Tuscan red wine gem from a relatively young estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga. The wine is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc. With superb ratings from the leading critics, this gem will not remain undiscovered for long! It received scores of 90 points from Wine Spectator and 93 points from Antonio Galloni for Parker's Wine Advocate. Michel Rolland consults on winemaking.
Tolaini Valdisanti is dark ruby red in color with a beautiful nose of wild raspberries, cherries, vanilla, leather and dried flowers. Very rich and full-bodied with silky tannins, this red offers flavors of black cherry, cassis, coffee and spice. Aged for 16 months in French oak, it is beautifully balanced to enjoy now or to cellar for 12-15 years. The finish is rich, long and polished.
