Judean Hills, Israel
Tura Mountain Vista Heartland is a dry red blend of 55% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Petit Verdot from grapes grown in the sunny Judean Hills of Israel. It is Mevushal and kosher for Passover. Tura Winery is a family-run "Estate Winery", and one of the most meticulous boutique wineries in the country. Tura Winery was founded in 2003 in the village of Rechelim by Vered and Erez Ben Sa'adon. Their vineyards are planted around the Bracha community, which is located at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level. The high altitude and mountain terrain provide an optimal climate for growing superb wine grapes.
Tura Mountain Vista Heartland comes from a cool climate and rocky soil. The wine has a beautiful deep violet color and medium-full body. It offers pleasant aromas and flavors of cherries and dried plums and a smooth, velvety palate. Aged for 10 months in new oak barrels, the wine is round, balanced and pleasant to drink, suitable for both light and heavy meals. It is nicely balanced and finishes with length and polish.
Enjoy Tura Mountain Vista Heartland over the next 6-8 years with beef brisket, grilled chicken, pasta and aged cheeses.
