Goriska Brda, Primorska, Slovenia
Kabaj Sivi Pinot is a beautiful "orange wine" of 100% Pinot Gris from Slovenia. The Kabaj homestead is located where the Alps meet the Adriatic, in the sun-kissed hills of Goriska Brda, neighboring Collio, Italy. All Kabaj wines spontaneously ferment before being aged in barrique and cellared a minimum of two years.
Kabaj Sivi Pinot was fermented with the skins, like a red wine, and is consequently more a rosé (or orange) than a white. This wine is lovely, dry, velvety and deeply flavorful. It was made to last 5-10 years or longer.
Enjoy Kabaj Sivi Pinot with shellfish, filet of sole, grilled chicken, root vegetables and mild cheeses.
