Angela Estate Pinot Noir Angela Vineyard is a beautiful single-vineyard red wine gem from the Pacific Northwest. Vintage 2014 in Oregon may be remembered as the vintage of a lifetime, one of those rare vintages, reminiscent of 1988 and 2002, when you have high quality and high quantity simultaneously. Angela Estate winery is a collaboration between native South African and second-generation wine producer, Antony Beck and winemaker, Ken Wright. The winery was named in honor of Beck's wife, Angela. The vineyards were planted in 2006 by Wright and exclusively produce single-vineyard, estate Pinot noir of the highest quality. Wright uses our estate fruit to create our signature style.
"Deep vivid red. Lively, mineral-accented cherry, blackberry and potpourri scents show very good clarity and pick up cola and succulent herb nuances as the wine opens up. Sappy, well-concentrated dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Densely packed but quite lively; finishes long and smooth, with subtle tannins lending grip."-Vinous, 91 points!
