Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon is a legendary red wine gem from Sonoma. In this outstanding 2012 vintage, the core of the fruit comes from the Sonoma Valley AVA, with the balance from Knights Valley and Alexander Valley--all three renowned for Cabernet Sauvignon.
Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec crafted by winemaker Kristina Werner. It is intense with aromas of dark cherry and red plum. Notes of violet and blueberry jam come through on the mid-palate along with nuanced spice and licorice. The concentrated mouthfeel and soft tannins are a testament to this great vintage, coating the palate with a lingering red fruit finish. Aged for 24 months in French and American oak.
Enjoy Arrowood Cab over the next 8-10 years with filet mignon, beef brisket, rich vegetarian dishes and aged cheeses.
