Erbaluce di Caluso, Piedmont, Italy
Cantina Delsignore Riflessi Erbaluce di Caluso is a beautiful food-friendly dry white wine from Piedmont made of 100% Erbaluce, a typical wine from the area around Caluso in the North of Turin Province. Vine growing in this area has ancient origins and Erbaluce is one of the oldest vines from Piedmont. It is the first white Piedmontese wine, which in 1967 received the Denomination of Controlled Origin appellation. Attilio Delsignore founded Cantina Delsignore in 1960 after marrying into the Nervi family, longtime owners of vineyards in Gattinara.
Delsignore Riflessi Erbaluce is a brilliant deep straw-yellow with greenish reflections. Intense fruity aroma with peaches and watermelon, hints of dandelion and elderflowers, lightly aromatic with golden apple on the finish. It is full-bodied with well balanced sweetness and acidity, offering hints of bread crust and honey, acacia flowers, pineapple and traces of citrus.
Delsignore Riflessi Erbaluce is an ideal match for grilled swordfish, roast chicken, cheeses, risotto and BBQ. Enjoy over the next 4-5 years.
