Louis Bernard Cotes du Rhone Villages is a beautiful red wine gem from the southern Rhone region of France. Maison Louis Bernard, based in Gigondas, France, was founded in 1976 in the heart of the Rhône Valley and its renowned Crus. Over the past 20 years, the winery has established close partnerships with more than 20 respected vineyard owners. Their wines follow this essential principle: the quality of the wine depends above all on the selection and maturity of the fruit. The production standards are stricter for Côtes du Rhône Villages than Côtes du Rhône, and these wines offer a more complex structure and a more powerful bouquet. This vintage is a blend of primarily Grenache and Syrah.
"Even better, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Villages is an outstanding Southern Rhône that has loads of ripe strawberry and raspberry fruits, medium-bodied richness and a peppery, spicy style on the palate that makes it a joy to drink. It's a terrific value to buy by the case and enjoy over the coming 2-3 years."-Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, 90 points
