L'Arco Chianti is a beautiful wine from the most famous appellation of Tuscany. L'Arco is in Vinci, a small medieval village where the famous Leonardo da Vinci was born. 20 kilometers west of Florence in the heart of the famous Chianti region. Its soil is very fertile, containing deep, resilient clay. The estate covers approximately 250 acres.
For L'Arco Chianti, the Sangiovese grapes are picked and sorted by hand. The wine is very intense ruby red in color and medium-bodied. The nose is remarkably fragrant with cherry and raspberry, followed by a hint of licorice and coffee. Its sweet and velvety tannins wrap around the mouth, leaving a deep feeling of freshness, making this pleasant wine fine and very elegant.
