Bernard Fouquet Vouvray Sec Le Petit Clos is a sec (dry) Vouvray from low yields of about 45 hL/ha. Entirely hand-harvested and only indigenous yeasts used. Fermented and matured in stainless steel thermo-regulated vats. Average residual sugar 2 g/L with average acidity of 8g/L. The wine is soft yellow-green in color with bright acidity. It is medium in body with an aromatic nose of peach, melon, almond and mineral notes. The wine offers a rich texture with bold flavors of peaches, green apples, pears, ginger and almond. It is clean and refreshing with good length on the finish.
