Vaucluse IGP, France
Domaine des Amouriers Cuvée Suzanne is a beautiful white blend of 50% Vermentino, 30% Roussanne, and 20% Viognier from the Vaucluse region of southern France. After the death of Jocelyn Chudzikewicz in 1997, the team at the estate, Patrick and Pascale Gras, kept the legacy alive until the return of Igor Chudzikewicz, one of Jocelyn's sons. Together, they continue to perpetuate their tradition of respect for a natural approach towards the vines and the wine itself. The entire vineyard has been certified organic AB since 2014. The estate covers 30 hectares, partly in the Vaucluse IGP, the rest in AOP Vacqueyras. The age of the vines (average age 50 years) with very low average yields and their perfect adaptation to the diversity of soils are the key elements that give the wines such elegant, rich, complex and balanced flavors.
Amouriers Suzanne is a dry white wine with plenty of character from the Vin de Pays de Vaucluse terroir. A delightfully fruity and thirst-quenching wine to be served cool when the summertime heat calls for it. The wine is dry, full-bodied and richly flavorful with a refreshing finish.
Enjoy Amouriers Suzanne with roasted chicken, seared scallops, baked swordfish, and grilled vegetables.
