North Fork of Long Island, New York
Farrm Reserve Red is a beautiful red Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot from this small biodynamic grower on the North Fork. Farrm Wine was created by Rex and Connie Farr practicing organic/biodynamic farming methods. No chemicals have been used on the farm since 1985. They became the first certified organic farm (1990) on Long Island.
Farrm Reserve Red is made from certified organic/biodynamic grown grapes. You'll taste the earthy quintessential local terroir of the North Fork in this food-friendly red with just 12.7% alc. Award-winning winemaker Russell Hearn of Premium Wine Group blended these grapes into a wonderful, quality wine. The wine has a medium-plus body with appealing aromatics of cassis, violet, sandalwood, spice, and dark chocolate. The palate is complex and well-integrated with notes of cassis, blackberry, vanilla, spice, and lavender. It is drinking beautifully now and will evolve gracefully for 4-6 years.
Enjoy Farrm Reserve Red with Long Island duck, grilled pork chops, burgers and rich vegetarian dishes.
