Figuiere Magali Rosé is a delicious dry rosé from Cotes de Provence. Figuière is a 210-acre organic wine estate located in La Londe, a sub-appellation of the Côtes-de-Provence AOP. Alain Combard arrived from Chablis in 1992 and purchased the property after discovering its unique terroir. Today, the second generation of the Combard family carries on the pioneering spirit of their father. Alain's daughter Magali runs the commercial side of the business while her brother François assists Alain in the cellar. La Londe enjoys cooler temperatures than the rest of the Côtes-de-Provence thanks to the influence of the sea and its schist soils bring an underpinning of minerality to the wines. "The schist in La Londe seduced my father," says daughter Magali, "schist and the sea make our style."
Figuière is in La Londe-les-Maures between Marseille and Nice with vineyards that lie just a few hundred meters from the Mediterranean Sea. "There's a five-degree difference in temperature from our vineyards to those of the interior," says Magali, "the freshness found in our wines is very singular to the La Londe region." The original 44-acre estate has been farmed organically since 1979.

"Glistening pink. Raspberry, white peach and a hint of tangerine on the mineral-accented nose. Sappy red berry, citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors show very good energy and are complemented by a refreshingly bitter hint of peach pit. Finishes with strong tenacity, leaving red fruit and floral notes behind."-Vinous 91 points!

Figuière aims for tight wines that express the unique terroir of coastal Provence. Magali Rosé is a medium-bodied rosé with aromas and flavors of strawberries, orange peel and white flowers. The wine shows bright and refreshing acidity and salty minerality thanks to the influence of the nearby Mediterranean Sea. It is a blend of 35% Grenache, 35% Cinsault, 20% Syrah and 10% Cabernet.

Enjoy Figuiere Magali Rosé now and over the next 2-3 years as the perfect patio aperitif wine. It matches up beautifully with salade Nicoise, roast chicken, grilled shrimp and mild cheeses.
