Columbia Valley, Washington
14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon is a lively Cab with aromas of berries and cherries. Soft, round tannins create a lingering finish. Grapes were primarily sourced from warmer sites in the Horse Heaven Hills and on the Wahluke Slope. Fruit from the Yakima Valley and other regions of the Columbia Valley played a supporting role.
14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon features aromas of cherries and currants with subtle hints of spice and dried herbs. Fresh flavors of red fruit are complemented by a touch of cocoa and accentuated by fine, round tannins. -- Keith Kenison, Winemaker
The wine was aged for approximately 12 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels to build structure and complexity in the finished blend.
