The Champagne house of Agrapart et Fils is located in the celebrated village of Avize in the heart of the Côte de Blancs. The estate was established in 1894, yet unlike many of the smaller grower Champagne houses that have only begun to estate bottle under their own labels in recent decades, the Agrapart family has done so since the inception of the domaine. The winery was founded by Arthur Agrapart. Fourth generation vigneron Pascal Agrapart runs this historic family domaine in the village of Avize. He is humble, soft-spoken, and fiercely dedicated to expressing the terroirs of his beloved village in his Champagnes.
Agrapart & Fils Champagne 7 Crus Brut is a superb non-vintage bottling that beautifully synthesizes the pure and opulent fruit of top-quality Chardonnay vineyards in the Côte de Blancs with a racy, structured minerality that gives the wine superb length and cut. It is delicious out of the blocks, but really will easily keep 10-15 years. The blend is 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir. 100% of the fruit comes from estate-owned parcels located in each of the seven villages in the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Oger, Oiry, Cramant, Avenay Val d'Or, Bergères les Vertus, and Mardeuil. (70% Grand Cru, 30% Premier Cru). Practicing organic.
Enjoy Agrapart & Fils Champagne 7 Crus Brut as the perfect aperitif and with any epicurean meal, including desserts. Cheers!
