Ardevol Anjoli is a wonderful introduction to the prestigious Priorat region of Spain. The Ardevol family has been growing vines in the village of Porrera since the 13th century. Ardevol Anjoli is light ruby red in color with a nose of fresh berries, licorice and tobacco. It is soft on the palate with medium-full-body and fine, well integrated tannins, offering rich flavors of plum and blackberries. Anjoli is a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before aging for 15 months in French oak barriques. It is well balanced with a long, lingering finish.
